School History

Moi Girls Secondary School Nangili began way back in 1976, on a piece of land which was originally within the white man's land, turned into a shopping center. the then milk store made the first classroom under the leadership or Mrs. Alice Baraza.

The reformed church of East Africa (RCEA) then bought 11 acres of land from Spring Fields Co-operative Society in 1979. between the year 1982 and 1984, the school management purchased 27 acres of land. on this land stands the first school dormitory constructed the school. (De langue). Between 1992-1997, the school has a difficult past occasioned by thuggery and strikes which stagnated the schools infrastructural and academic growth.

However, the school started picking up in the year 2003 in terms of infrastructure, enrolment, and academics. This year marked the turning point of the school since it rebranded the uniform and expanded into four streams.
